As part of ERADICATING II project, Dignita Foundation has established the Consultative Women's Circles as a successful practice for analysing the risks of human trafficking when working with the vulnerable group - refugee women from Ukraine.
After the meetings held in Sofia in June, meetings were held in Varna at the beginning of July, involving 20 refugee women. In this second group of meetings, the 3rd and 4th rounds, two groups participated in the discussions: settled refugee women who arrived in our country in the first wave after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, and newly arrived refugee women who arrived in Bulgaria in 2024. Women included in the Humanitarian Aid Programme for Displaced Persons from Ukraine also took part in the groups.
The analysis of potential risk factors for each of these groups will allow for a more accurate assessment of vulnerability and the impact of integration measures under the activated European Directive on Temporary Protection for Displaced Persons from Ukraine.
